Young People’s Philharmonic

Since 1976, the Young exness暗号 People’s Philharmonic of the Lehigh Valley has provided aspiring young musicians a rich supplement to their musical experiences. Under the direction of Kenneth Bean, the Young People’s Philharmonic consists of approximately eighty-five committed string, woodwind, brass and percussion musicians from 8th through 12th grade across the Greater Lehigh Valley and Western New Jersey exness 評判.

Junior String Philharmonic

For younger instrumentalists, the Junior String Philharmonic, under the direction of Domenick Fiore, consists of approximately fifty Lehigh Valley musicians from 5th through 9th grade.

Both orchestras perform semiannually in venues ranging from Lehigh Univeristy’s Zoellner Center for the Arts to the Paul C. Empie Theatre at Muhlenberg College. Throughout the year the orchestras also offer a number of area school and community outreach concerts, and some of the members perform together in smaller chamber ensembles.

Membership in the orchestras is by audition, generally held in mid May. Rehearsals are held most Tuesdays, 6:15 til 8:30pm, September thru April, at First Presbyterian Church of Bethlehem, located 1.3 miles exness-trade.jp.net south of Route 22 at 2344 Center Street (Route 512).
